Guide: How to construct good latrines in areas with flooding and high ground water - rural Cambodia
Engineers Without Borders have developed a practical guide for constructing good latrines in areas with flooding and high ground water in rural Cambodia. The manual is aimed to be used for constructing pour flush toilets piped to pits made with concrete rings. The guide is simple, easy-to-follow with plenty of images. Whilst developed for rural Cambodia, the design principles are applicable to sanitation in other areas experiencing flooding. A version in Khmer is also available here.
