Sustainable supply through water safety planning - a trial in Vietnam
"Water Safety Planning (WSP) is a preventive, pro-active approach to help monitor water quality and ensure a sustainable and safe drinking water supply.
Recognising that WSP could be a good approach to address the existing gaps in operation and management (O&M) and sustainability of the water supply system in Vietnam, Plan Vietnam began applying the approach in remote ethnic communities in 4 districts of 3 provinces in Central Vietnam in 2014 as part of its DFAT funded Civil Society WASH Fund project."
This document outlines the WSP approach, results of the trial to date and an in-depth case study.
