Innovation Award shortlist announced!

The CS WASH Fund is pleased to announce the shortlisted organisations for the Civil Society Innovation Award. Video submissions highlighted and promoted the innovative work of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs)/ Non-government Organisations (NGOs) in improving WASH service delivery and sustainability.

Varied and interesting submissions were received from all around the globe. Areas of innovation were also wide-ranging, from sanitation marketing initiatives to motivating handwashing with soap and water filtration technologies. The selection panel was impressed by the effort and time invested by many organisations in applying for the award and showcasing their work.

We are excited to announce the top three finalists. They are (in alphabetical order):

  • iDE: Systems Based Approach to Sanitation
  • Improve International: Donor scorecard - encouraging follow-up and sharing results to keep the water flowing
  • WaterAid: Wash It - Music video rocks Cambodians to wash their hands with soap

The videos of the top three finalists will be played and the winner and runner-up announced at the WASH Futures 2018 Conference Dinner in March 2018. Stay tuned to learn who the winners are. If you have not yet registered for the WASH Futures 2018 Conference you can do so now here.
