An Assessment of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Program Performance based on Service Levels - Timor-Leste

This report provides an assessment of a pilot study of the RapidWASH assessment tool in Timor-Leste. RapidWASH defines a set of ageed service level benchmarks, and this report assesses the changes in WASH service levels resulting from WaterAid supported programming in Timor-Leste. It is a free and open access system consisting of smartphone based data collection and a management portal that automatically conducts analysis of water, sanitation and hygiene  data. RapidWASH is used for assessing and tracking performance of water, sanitation and hygiene programs.

The RapidWASH assessment tool was developed with support from the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)'s Innovation and Impact Fund, a sub-grant under the CS WASH Fund. The tool was developed by WaterAid Australia with support of IRC WASH using mWater technology and was piloted in seven WaterAid supported WASH projects in Liquica District, Timor-Leste.
