WASH 2016 Conference

The Australian Aid sponsored WASH conference series has brought together WASH practitioners from all over the the world since 2006. The WASH 2016 Conference will focus on the post-Millenium Development Goal era with a WASH Futures orientation. Thematic areas will include: improving service levels and service sustainability, moving WASH beyond the household, integrating hygiene to ensure healthy outcomes and WASH and water security. The conference series aims to strengthen the capacity of WASH actors and facilitate the exchange of learning for improved WASH effectiveness. The target audience includes WASH practitioners and professionals from governments, donors, civil society organisations and academia.

The week-long event will consist of a two day conference and three days of training workshops on a range of WASH topics.
