Join this email discussion looking at universal access and use of sanitation and hygiene services and asking the question, what works? running for three weeks from Thursday 30th March – 20th April 2017.
What will we discuss?
There will be 3 topics and each topic will run for one week starting on the Thursday. At the end of the discussion there will be a summary paper, which will also be an input for a learning event workshop in Indonesia on the topic in early May.
The three sub-topics of the DGroup are:
Week 1: 30 March - 5 April Exploring the 'last mile' in universal access and use of sanitation and hygiene services
Week 2: 6 - 12 April Tools for universal access, what works?
Week 3: 13 - 20 April Phasing and tailoring approaches in sanitation and hygiene programmes
Who is the Dgroup discussion for?
The discussion is for all people interested in improving the reach, sustainability and equitable outcomes of rural sanitation and hygiene programming in the Asia and Africa regions. We are giving preference to people from local and national governments that are currently working in the sector, but there are also professionals from many development organizations and knowledge partners.
How does it work?
On the first day of the discussion, a Thursday, you will find some questions in your inbox. Everybody is invited to share their ideas, comments and examples, responding to the Dgroup message. All experiences and opinions are welcome and please don’t be shy to contribute. Please write your message in the main email text and not in an attachment. At the end of each week all messages of the week will be processed and integrated into a summary document.
